In this creative and expressive workshop, students are invited to explore their thoughts and emotions through art and writing. Participants will create unique paintings and other artistic forms, using a range of materials to bring their feelings to life. This nurturing environment encourages self-expression, imagination, and personal growth, allowing students to connect with their inner selves while developing their artistic and literary skills. Whether through vibrant colors or powerful words, each creation will reflect the students' true feelings and individual experiences.

Since 2008, Outreach Productions has been hosting Juneteenth at the Carver Library in Austin, Texas. Come celebrate this important day with us and enjoy a day filled with family-friendly activities and cultural performances. Join us in commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Our event is in person, so get ready to have a great time surrounded by community and history.
Engage in a panel, "Curating Community in Your Own Backyard," featuring experts sharing insights on Black community curation and businesses. Dance to the beats of our live DJ, check out live art by a local artist, and enjoy a dance performance by Ballet Afrique. Explore black-owned vendors selling a variety of unique goods.
The African American Book Festival is an annual event hosted at the Carver Library and Museum in Austin, Texas. This year, Outreach Productions collaborated with the festival to offer a special youth story time and puppet show.
This year, Outreach Productions had our annual Juneteenth gathering at the Carver Library. We were privileged to have Miss Austin address the youth on the topic of community volunteering. Our festivities featured engaging storytelling, an entertaining puppet show, and an informative presentation on the history of Black Austin Freedom Communities.
We were delighted to partner with The Pease Park Conservancy on a Juneteenth celebration. The event was an enchanting night of jubilation, screenings, and commemoration of Juneteenth, as we honored the rich and inspiring history of Austin's Black Freedom Communities.
