This summer, Outreach Productions invites students ages 10–15 to join our Summer Art & Literacy Program — a fun, hands-on learning experience where creativity and reading come together!
Each week, students will explore painting, illustration, and visual storytelling with professional art instructors while strengthening their literacy skills through engaging, art-based reading and writing activities.
✨ What to Expect:
- Creative art workshops in painting & illustration
- Guided literacy activities woven into the art projects
- Mentorship from experienced teaching artists
- Field trips on Saturdays (details coming soon!)
- Healthy lunch & snacks provided daily
🎒 Whether your child is a budding artist, a book lover, or just curious to try something new, this free program offers a supportive and joyful space to grow and create.
👧🏾 Open to youth ages 10–15.

Community Christmas at the Carver Library

Timika's True Feelings Art & Writing Workshop
Date: October 19, 2024
In this creative and expressive workshop, students are invited to explore their thoughts and emotions through art and writing. Participants will create unique paintings and other artistic forms, using a range of materials to bring their feelings to life. This nurturing environment encourages self-expression, imagination, and personal growth, allowing students to connect with their inner selves while developing their artistic and literary skills. Whether through vibrant colors or powerful words, each creation will reflect the students' true feelings and individual experiences.
