About the story: The spider has become huge because of the magic rain in the forest. He is after Mumba Monkey. Mumba tells the spider about the caterpillar and how she will turn into something beautiful. Because the Spider hates reading he doesn't know what the caterpillar will change into. So the Spider goes after Caterpillar to see what changes will happen.

waiting for some good ole cornbread, or even cookies. In the story Ma and Pa
decide to make the cornbread into the shape of a cornbread girl, but once the
cornbread girl is ready she jumps from the pan saying, "Run, run all around the world you can't catch me, I'm the cornbread Girl."
